Pinemeadow Tip for the Holidays

Can anyone really hit the 2 and 3 iron? The older I get, the harder it is to hit those irons. I still have the same tempo and speed as before, however I find it much easier to hit a hybrid style iron versus the 2 and 3. If we look in the bag of many pros, we are starting to see more of them using the 2 and 3 iron. Why? Well, the newer irons are simply easier to hit and more flexible than the ‘old fashioned’ 2 and 3. The added mass in the club head and loft make it easier to hit higher and longer. I use the hybrid irons on long par 3’s, out of rough, and off the tee. At 19, 22, and 25 degrees, the Command Hybrid Irons are great alternatives to the low irons. -
